Master of Education in Elementary or Secondary Education with an Emphasis in Reading

This program prepares teachers with elementary or secondary certification to earn a masterís degree as they study to become literacy specialists. The online program is designed as a two-year cohort experience with a structured summer residency experience in a literacy clinic. Many of the teachers in this program also work toward their state Reading Certification, an endorsement that positions teachers to assume leadership roles in literacy coaching, curriculum and instruction, or professional development.
