Undergraduate Certificate in Gender Studies

Gender Studies draws on the rich body of interdisciplinary scholarship to investigate emerging theories and research on women, men, and gender fluidity as they intersect with race, class, culture, sex, policy, institutions, and human interactions. Faculty are dedicated to the promotion of the exchange of knowledge among people of different genders, classes, ethnicities, sexual orientations, and cultural conditions.

Program Overview

Required minimum 18 hours in Gender Studies courses. Course work may be taken face-to-face, 100% online, or a combination of the two.

A minimum GPA of 2.5 is required for admission and in courses toward the certificate.

The Certificate in Gender Studies is also available in the Online Bachelor of Liberal Studies.
